This class takes the foundations of the dance and puts them chest to chest, in the hug that never stops (well at least for 9 minutes). In this class you will be exposed to what gives argentine tango its form, its shape, and its uniqueness in the dance world, Close Embrace. You will learn how to walk in close embrace, turn, ocho, and molinete, and then heaven’s forbid…cross! This IS Argentine Tango at its most ‘complex’ and is simplest. Come find out what all of your friends have been raving about. If you seen ‘Tango’ on ‘Dancing With The Stars’…this is BETTER because its REAL! This is a the companion class to either the Free Beginner Tango or Sat Beginner Tango. Take both and then this class to get a well rounded view of the dance and to get you up and social dancing quickly!

WEEK 2 – The Walking Hug of Lazy Infinity.
WEEK 3 – The Walking Hug of Infinity that leads to a Hug with Grapes!
WEEK 4 – The Walking Hug of Infinity that leads to a Hug with Grapes that Crosses now and again ?

Partners: You do not need a partner. You do not need tango shoes; socks are preferred. You do however have to have clean teeth, and take a shower once a day at least (smile).

Parking: If you do drive & you need to park: option 1.) Park at 65 JFK St. and walk over. 2.) Park in Central Sq. and take the #1 bus or the T to Harvard. 3.) Drive to Alewife and take the T to Harvard Sq.

Donation is EIGHT dollars per class. If you can’t afford it, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t come. It just means you’ll hook up later when you can. Come to class and learn what your friends have been raving about: Argentine Tango….IT ROCKS!
