This is Argentine Tango in its practical and useful refinement.
This class has distilled the form down to its essence. If you’re just starting out, this IS the beginner class to take. This course will take you through the foundation of tango and out the other side with a practical application that you can use going out on a social dance floor right after the first class! This is NOT the 8 count argentine basic, its better…and won’t make you look like a dance studio baby! Just the opposite. This class is perfect for beginners and those who want to learn to lead and follow. You will learn both sides of the embrace and understand why things work the way that they do! Followers that have been dancing a while and wanting to learn how to lead, this class will get your feet wet!
WEEK 1 – THE WHOLE ‘SHEBANG!’ (everything all at once)
WEEK 2 – Refinements to the ‘SHEBANG’! (what you can do with it)
WEEK 3 – Close Embrace ‘SHEBANG’! (the hugging version)
WEEK 4 – CHITTY, CHITTY, BANG, BANG! (toys!)

Partners: You do not need a partner. You do not need tango shoes; socks are actually preferred. You do however have to have clean teeth, and take a shower once a day at least (smile).
Parking: If you do drive & you need to park: option 1.) Park at 65 JFK St. and walk over. 2.) Park in Central Sq. and take the Bus or T to classes. 3.) I suggest you drive to Alewife and take the T to Harvard Sq.
Donation is EIGHT dollars per class. If you can’t afford it, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t come. It just means you’ll hook up later when you can. Come to class and learn what your friends have been raving about: Argentine Tango….IT ROCKS!
